Tomorrow

Like many bloggers, I won't be blogging tomorrow, as I'm taking part in the day of silence.

I'll leave you with this quick little news blurb.  You may remember I had mentioned that my mother's friend and a bunch of Japanese exchange students were trapped in Tokyo while waiting to fly over here.  (click here to refresh your memory.)  They landed safely, but they're suppose to fly back to Japan this weekend.  We're not sure if they'll actually leave or not now, and we're waiting to hear back from their home town.  In the video, my mom's friend Miwa is talking.  She's a bit hard to understand, but you get the point.  She's a great lady, and I like her accent :)

Much love,

~E

Glad to hear they are all safe, I was wondering. And yes the video worked just fine!
I will be getting back to you via email here in a bit about the Folklore Friday thing, sorry it took so long, I was busy checking out and pouring over a few library books in preparation.

That's ok! Thanks for letting me know :) Submissions are slow, but I think that's a good thing. Getting all the facts straight it always good in my books :D

it's definitely nice to hear a good sort of story coming out from the tragedy that hit Japan. I'm glad your mom's friend and the students are safely awaiting their next steps. ♥
