The lovely Lauren of Outside Voice is holding a photo challenge at her blawgy blawg and the subject is trees. I'm just squeaking my entry in within hours of her deadline...because that seems to be how I roll lately.
Seeing as I haven't posted these photos yet, I thought I'd share them with you all, because I really, really like you guys. High five!
A few weeks ago my friend Marisa and I went on a spring time walk in the river valley together, first one of the season! There was still some snow on the ground at the time, but it didn't stop us. I always have a blast with this lady. We've basically known each other since the womb, THE WOMB. I feel privileged to say that.
Anywho, this is my submission for Lauren's challenge. The rest of the photos are just some more delightful images to feast your eyes upon.

Good choice for the entry, the composition is beautiful. It's like you're lying under that tree, looking up!

Love these photos Erin! Little adventures are the best. That last photo is definitely my favorite. Very unique!
Erin, Thanks SO much for contributing. These photos are amazing. I especially LOVE the first one looking up the tree bark. The texture and depth are amazing.

"And there you see the wild Erin in her natural habitat..." that made me lmao! ahahaha
These truly are great photos! Especially your angles :) Not that I know anything about photography. I should probably just stick with "dose pitchers look goooooood"

Wow! Your eye for composition is incredible. And I love your sweet sweet military jacket. LOVE.
gosh I really love that first photograph! Stunning..
That 'listen' guy sure gets up, hey? Last time I was in Edmonton (like ... YEARS ago) I took a bunch of pictures of his stencils and tags. Also, isn't that a great graffiti name?
Oh yeah, your photos are nice too, haha.
