| From the photo booth...Yes, I like to make strange faces. |
Yes yes!!! I'm FINALLY done my friend Tiff's wedding video! It took me a while to edit, as my computer is somewhat slow and I shot everything in HD. Uploading was a bit of a pain too, but so worth it!
This was my first time actually shooting something with my Canon 5D Mark II. I mean, I've shot little videos (like the axolotl video I'm sure most of you have seen), but nothing major like this. I can honestly say that I'm VERY impressed with the 5D. Everything it shoots is so clear and gorgeous. I'm pretty stoked about this camera!
The editing I did at home with Final Cut Express. It's like the bigger brother version of iMovie, which I know some of you have used. I'd love to upgrade to Final Cut Studio one of these days...but until then FCE is good enough. I also incorporated After Effects to do some colouring for the footage. The original stuff was a teeny bit dark, so I used some magic in AE to give it this lighter film look.
Okay, enough blabbing. Watch it!
I get waaaay too excited for this kinda stuff. Film production and editing are definitely my passions, and I feel pretty fortunate that I get to do this for a living.
If you guys ever have any video/editing questions, feel free to send me an e-mail or tweet. I love helping out others.
Ciao lovelies!

Your video looks amazing Erin! I love the shots you took of everyone in the photobooth. What a fun wedding!
Amazing video! I loved the photo booth shot and the shot where the girl was writing in the card. Lovely. Beautiful!

Great job, Erin. I looks like there was such a happy atmosphere on the day!
Love some of those camera angles, AND the Beatles as the background music! Good job :)
Best part: Silhouette of a lady emerging from the tower of Pilsner cans.
This is really one of the better wedding videos I've seen. I had a smile on my face the whole time AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW THESE PEOPLE!
This is excellent Erin! The song choice fits so well :) It actually made my hairs stand on end, it was that good!
