I can't believe it's so close to Christmas already. A few more days. Where the hell did the time go? No, seriously, how is it already the 22nd? This past week flew by for Raimund and I. We've been busy shopping for presents after work, gathering ingredients for baking projects, toting the kiddo around, and so forth. Mentally I'm a bit frazzled. Everything is basically in order, but I'm still waiting on a photo album from Blurb for my mom. They somehow "misplaced" my order from late November and had to reprint my book. Normally stuff like that doesn't happen so I don't hold it against them, but it still sucks. I'm crossing my fingers that it is sitting at the post office waiting to get picked up.
This year for gift wrapping I felt crafty. It comes and goes in spurts for me, luckily it hit me the past few days.
Simple, but I dig it. The kraft paper was from Grand & Toy as the post office ran out. It was $5 and will last a long time. The ribbon was from Michael's, the tags were from Winners, and the stamps were from the ever-so-awesome Ashley of Under Those Neon Lights. Go check out her other stamps and goodies!
(And for the record, this was not Pinterest inspired. Just thought I'd throw that out there, ha!)
Are you done wrapping your presents, or have you even started? I have a few more to go and then I can finally put my feet up. My beer is calling me.
Later!

I love being crafty...it's just a matter of time and the inspiration hitting me at the right time, as you said.

Great job on the wrapping! I love this idea of simplicity. It's still very festive though.
That's too bad you had to work during Christmas...but eh, things could be worse.
Hope you enjoyed that beer! ;)
