I mentioned in my previous post that last weekend we all went out to my grandparents to go sledding. I brought out my Diana Mini to test out some expired 35mm film I bought off eBay, and I love the results! The film came out a bit blue, but I'm completely fine with that. It definitely adds to the cold winter feel of it. It helps too that the lab tech actually centered my film when she scanned and printed the shots. I've had it happen where I get my photos back either left aligned or right aligned, and I think that looks kinda shitty.
In all honesty, I prefer shooting with my Diana Mini over my Diana F+. With my Diana F+ the shots are always hit and miss, mostly miss. I can't get the focusing on it right, no matter how closely I ride the focus selector. With my Diana Mini I always get results that I love. Plus it's perfect for stuffing in my pocket to go sledding with.
I'm in love with this last photo. That person face first in the snow is my mom. Ben played her out so hard, but she loves it. It's a blast watching them interact and play and argue and play some more. I love spending weekends with the family!
Later gators!

i love these plastic cameras. so so so much fun. :)
snow is so much fun for all the falimly! the pics are great, like you say the blue tinge adds to the feel of them x
I love these photos. With Raimund's outfit and the film-quality, it looks like they could have been taken YEARS ago. So cute. I also love that Raimund looks so totally into this sledding adventure. Cute!
Umm.. hey.. come visit! :)
These are so fun! I love the bluish tiny too and my favorite is the one where you are about to/going down the hill. How did you get these developed?
It's going to be so great that next winter I'll be able to pull the wee one on a sled. The photos turned out great.
