Hey guys!
Do I seem distant on here? That's probably because I've fallen in love with one of my favourite hobbies again -- penpalling. I'd almost forgotten how much I love sending and receiving snail mail. Sure it takes up time writing out a letter and decorating it up, but it's worth it in my opinion.
The thought occurred to me as I was writing a letter recently: why not start a blogger penpal group? I'm sure there must be other ladies (and gents) out there who wouldn't mind having a friend to write letters to. It's something I think everyone should try at least once in their life. Hell, I have a Swedish penpal I've written to for over 10 years whom I now consider a very close friend.
Maybe I'm out to lunch with this idea, so I need your opinion. If I set up a blogger penpal alliance, would you join? Do you know of any friends who would want to join?

Definitely keen. When I was about 8 years old I had around 30 penpals. Was getting a letter almost every day, it was ridiculous. They slowly stopped writing over the next few months, except for one who is one of my best friends today :-)

I think it's a great idea! I would definitely join. I tried to be part of a vegan pen pal group but both stopped writing.

I agree! Writing letters is so much fun! I've had a couple of penpals since I was about 15 years old; geez! I can't believe it's been so long.
