Piercings and Jewelry and Etsy, OH MY!

I've had my septum pierced for a while, and lately I've been wanting to change up my jewelry.  Sure, it's nice having a regular ring, but I find some are a bit too big for me.  I'm a 16 gauge and most of the rings I find are a bit wide, a bit large, and a bit awkward for my face.

Behold the septum chain.

I found this shop on Etsy a little while ago and was curious about the idea of having a septum chain.  However, I was worried I wouldn't be able to get an accurate size for the width of my septum and so forth.   Also, how the heck do I even get it in?

My worries were in vain, as the ring I received fit perfect and wasn't hard to put on at all.  At first it was a bit unusual feeling, but after a while I got use to the sensation. 

I've worn it for a day, and I absolutely love it.  I feel that the chain is more discreet looking than a ring as it's a bit snugger to my nose, which is what I was looking for.  Also, if I need to take it off that isn't a huge issue.

I've also come to discover that Etsy has a pretty nice selection of septum/nose ring jewelry, which I love.  I like the selection there better than the place where I had my nose pierced, which says a lot I think.

So there's my two cents on my new septum jewelry and all that jazz.  I hope that may help anyone out there who wants to change their jewelry but doesn't want anything over the top.
